FROM THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
Celebrating Our Year 6 Sporting Committee - Jersey Day Success!
A huge thank you to our incredible Year 6 Sporting Committee for their outstanding efforts in organising and running Jersey Day! Their enthusiasm and leadership helped make the day a great success, and they raised $269.40 to go towards purchasing new soccer goals for our school.
It’s inspiring to see our students take initiative and work together towards a shared goal that will benefit the whole school community. Keep an eye out for their next fundraising event as they continue to work on this exciting project.
Learning Committee
The latest interview conducted by the Learning Committee was with Neve Austin from Year 3. Neve would like the school community to know that it’s important to:
“Try hard in everything you do and listen to your teachers.”
See Neve’s full interview on our school Facebook page.
Positive Behaviour for Learning
Our PB4L focus continues to be ‘following instructions from adults in our school community.’ We’re putting the spotlight on one of our most important values - respect. Following instructions from adults helps keep our school safe, supportive, and fun for everyone!
Teachers and staff will be recognising students who show respectful listening and prompt responses throughout the week. These moments often lead to great learning and stronger relationships. Together, let’s continue to support our students in becoming thoughtful, respectful members of our school community.
